The UK’s Rail Infrastructure Showcase Returns to London
Infrarail 2018, the UK’s leading exhibition of railway infrastructure equipment products and services, returns to London next year.
The event will take place at ExCeL London in the capital’s Docklands from 1 to 3 May 2018, and will feature the full range of systems, equipment and skills needed to create, operate and maintain all fixed assets for main line and urban railway networks.
Among sectors represented by exhibitors will be railway civil engineering and construction, track products, signalling and communications, electrification, stations and depots, infrastructure maintenance equipment and services, and much more.
The exhibition will also incorporate the CITE Hub for Civil Infrastructure & Technology Exhibits, a special area within the show featuring products and services which in many instances are equally applicable to highways, utilities and communications networks, as well as to the railway sector.
Exhibitors in the CITE Hub will showcase civil engineering capabilities, construction services and products, plant and equipment, geotechnical services, tunnelling, consultancy and project management, and IT systems.
Infrarail will be further enhanced by a full programme of keynote speeches by leading figures, industry seminars, project briefings and discussion groups. These will all take place in the exhibition hall and will be free to attend, providing valuable insights into trends in technology and policy.
Next year’s exhibition will be the twelfth in a highly successful series which has seen Infrarail firmly established in the rail industry’s calendar. The last of these events, Infrarail 2016, was also held at ExCeL London. A total of 240 exhibitors took part, including those in the CITE Hub. Some 5,300 industry professionals attended the show.
