The title was launched in 1963, selling for sixpence (2.5p). After Sir Peter Parker became the Chairman of the British Railways Board in 1977, Railnews was issued free to all employees.  But when BR was privatised, Railnews was published for the last time by the Board in October 1996. (Read more)
