WARNING TO ALL EXHIBITORS - EXPO-GUIDE / FAIRGUIDE.COM / CONSTRUCT DATA VERLAG

Mack Brooks Exhibitions Ltd, the organisers of Infrarail 2010 would like to state that Expo-Guide / Fairguide.com / Construct Data Verlag is in no way connected with Mack Brooks, Infrarail or any of Mack Brooks exhibitions. We do not endorse these organisations.

Fairguide.com / Construct Data Verlag is an Austrian-based organisation that regularly publicises services to exhibitors at events, primarily in Europe. This company is targeting the publishing community for entries in a ‘Show Catalogue’.

The company use a form, which resembles an organiser's free catalogue listing service, inviting exhibitors to sign and return the form for an entry in an on-line directory, which contracts the purchaser into the three-year, non-retractable agreement.

If you have participated in any of our exhibitions in previous years, or are due to participate in any of the following trade shows this year, you are likely to be targeted.

Another, more recent, example of third parties contacting exhibitors for entries into show guides is Expo-Guide based in Mexico.  Again, like Construct Data they are using misleading forms containing our exhibition names and demanding monies from those who sign in error.

Information and guidance on dealing with Expo-Guide can also be found on the AEO website. Along with examples of the forms that you could be sent.

Under no circumstances should you sign anything indicating you will become part of an "exhibition directory" that will list your company's products and services, if the letter is sent to you by EXPO-GUIDE, FAIRGUIDE or CONSTRUCT DATA VERLAG.
